Hans directed the dinner preparation for President and Mrs. Kennedy on November 21, 1963. Hans later became Executive Chef at Houston's renowned international hotel, The Warwick, which catered to the rich and famous.

Hans and his wife, Annemarie, began their entrepreneurial career in the Texas Hill Country in 1969, buying several hotels, including the plush Inn of the Hills Conference Resort in Kerrville, Texas where they enjoy entertaining and hosting people from all over the world.

Entrepreneurship has allowed Hansueli to branch out into other creative endeavors, and this is his first novel. He is busy working on a sequel.
